Warbirds Over Wanaka is famous for attracting a wide variety of privately owned Warbird aircraft along with their modern-day counterparts from the RNZAF, RAAF, USAF and French Air Force. While the aircraft are the main focus of our event, there are a lot of other displays on the ground which have made this show so successful over the past 33 years.

The amazing pyrotechnics, the Warhorse re-enactor groups, the aircraft for sale and other exhibitors will be back to make 2022 a truly unforgettable experience for everyone.

The Airshow is over 3 days – Easter Weekend:

Friday 15th April is practice day.

Saturday 16th April and Sunday 17th April are the Airshow display days where continuous action with the flying programme from 10am to 4pm.

Gates open at 7.30am on all three days. All Airshow parking is free.
